Ordering Reproductions

Restrictions On Use

All Reproduction orders acknowledge that copyright compliance is the user's responsibility. Reproductions are available for scholarly, educational, and artistic use. No use in advertising is permitted. Images are made available for one-time use only with the written permission of the Kheel Center, and may not be republished digitally without written permission. No exclusive rights are given to any publisher or author, and the Kheel Center assumes no responsibility for third party claims.

Order Information

Reproduction orders are derived from the user's Saved Images file. Photographs saved by registered users will remain in this file between research sessions until the list is finalized and you are ready to order. Unregistered visitors' selections will be available only during the current session but may be saved by registering. Selected images are automatically entered on the appropriate forms when you are ready to order.

All orders for reproductions must be accompanied by a signed Photo Duplication and Use Agreement and a Digital Reproduction Form, both of which may be found at the bottom of this page. Not for profit organizations should also include their Exempt Organization Certificate. These completed forms must be faxed or mailed to the Kheel Center. Information about fees will be returned to the requestor when the availability of appropriate digital files is determined (see the price list below). Payment in US currency by credit card, money order, or check made out to Cornell University, must be received before any order will be processed. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery from receipt of payment depending on the size and type of the order. Additional fees will be charged for rush orders needed in less than 2 weeks time. Please contact the Center to discuss rush orders.

Reproduction specifications must be included in your request. Digital files are available in a variety of formats with scanned resolutions up to 1200 ppi.

Image Modification

Any changes to the existing image including digital enhancement, tinting, retouching, cropping, or recombining must be indicated in the accompanying caption or credit.

Image Credit

Unless otherwise specified, the credit line should include the photographer if known, the collector's or donor's name, and Kheel Center for Labor-Management Documentation and Archives, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.
